Over the years, the technology department has evolved and expanded to meet the demands of a rapidly growing organization, providing various technical resources, training, and support to facilitate the fulfillment of the church’s mission.

The main areas of focus for the technology department are:

1. Position technology units as service departments that support the church’s mission, not only at the Division headquarters but also in unions and institutions throughout the Inter-America territory.

2. Strengthen IT processes that support the church’s mission through innovative and standardized tools.

3. Support and improve the organization’s administrative, strategic, and financial processes through the implementation of standardized technologies.

4. Implement technology policies and processes that facilitate close collaboration between IT departments and other church departments and entities.

5. Develop and train technology staff through training sessions and platforms, as well as through personalized guidance throughout the territory.

6. Implement collaboration agreements with Adventist universities in the territory to facilitate the creation of a platform that supports the growth and development of technical and human resources.
