Inter-America to Celebrate Extensive Evangelism Efforts Online From Haiti

The Seventh-day Adventist Church in Inter-America will hold its annual baptismal celebration this Sabbath with a special online event from Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The live event, coined as “Lord Transform Me”, will highlight the culmination of evangelistic efforts so far this year by thousands of pastors and active church members in the country and all across the Inter-American Division (IAD) territory. More than 8,000 are expected to crowd the Sylvio Cator Stadium in the capital city. Another four sites across the Haitian Union will hold hundreds more baptisms on the same day. Thousands more are expected to attend those events.

In Guyana, Hundreds Join the Church Through Large Evangelism Impact

The Seventh-day Adventist Church in Guyana recently celebrated historic evangelism efforts which brought more than 1,400 new believers into the church. Guyana, which belongs to the the Caribbean Union, is located on the northern mainland of South America. Some 5,000 church members and friends met at the National Exhibition Center in Georgetown, on Mar. 17, to witness 101 new believers get baptized into the church, during the conclusion of dozens of evangelistic campaigns held for over a week. The effort was coined as Impact Guyana 2018.

The report’s claims — it is emphasized — are backed by the latest science. You find yourself agreeing with what you see or hear—you are, so to say, ‘talked into it.’ As a ‘new convert,’ you go out immediately to purchase the advertised panacea fruit, vegetable, grain, or oil. Barely a few days later, however, you come across another health report on the nutrition item in question.

In Inter-America, Church Leaders Reflect on Growth and Vote Evangelism Initiatives

Top Seventh-day Adventist administrators and board members of the Inter-American Division (IAD) Executive Committee concluded its church business meetings this week with a commitment to expand the church further and with a vote of gratitude for the visionary leadership of Pastor Israel Leito. Pastor Leito served as president in the IAD for over 24 years. The two-day meetings ended on mar. 27, 2018, at the IAD Headquarters in Miami, Florida.
