For years, I heard the same phrase in different mission fields: “When I’m more prepared, then I’ll go.” But missions rarely wait for us to be completely ready.
This doesn’t mean jumping in without training or guidance, but rather recognizing that maturity is often built IN the course of service, not before it.
Learning by Serving
The young people who today lead community projects in different countries across the region didn’t start out with certainty, but with a willingness to serve. That willingness, sustained by a supportive community, has been more decisive than any perfect plan.
