Leaders reviewed progress and named new leaders to advance the church’s mission.

During annual board meetings held this week, leaders of Inter-American Division (IAD) institutional boards reviewed mission progress, financial performance, and approved important leadership transitions to strengthen the publishing work across the territory.

IADPA

At the IADPA board session on Nov. 10, leaders highlighted the continuing mission emphasis on spiritual growth and disciple-making. Outgoing personnel with decades of service were honored, including Anita Rodríguez who was honored for 33 years of service, alongside her husband Daniel Rodríguez, recognized for 20 years of faithful ministry in literature sales.

IADPA President Pastor Saúl Ortiz reported that the network now includes 93 bookstores with 167 employees, and that missionary literature sales are projected to reach outstanding numbers in 2025, reflecting steady growth since 2020.

The board approved the 2026 operating budget and also voted a nominating committee chaired by Pastor Abner De los Santos and voted in leadership recommendations for the next five years.

Ortiz was elected as the president of IADPA. Other IADPA leaders include effective immediately, until 2030:

Clara Spengler as vice president for sales and marketing; Moises Javier, vice president for finances; Elías Peiró, vice president for production; Monica Diaz, senior editor for editorial affairs; Vladimir Polanco, senior editor for theological publication; Jorge Rodríguez, Sabine Honoré,  and Raquel Rodríguez as associate editors.

GEMA Editores

GEMA Editores presented a four-year report highlighting the printing of more than 34 million books and magazines, expansion of digital platforms, and bookstore renovations to support mission-driven distribution across Mexico.

Financial reports showed growth in assets and sales, despite liquidity challenges due to infrastructure investments.

The board approved the 2026 budget and authorized the purchase of publishing rights for new children’s titles. Pastor Ignacio Navarro was elected as the new president of GEMA Editores, following the earlier retirement announcement of Moisés Reyna. Navarro previously served as president of the Chiapas Mexican Union. Additional leaders appointed include Rubén Gallegos as vice president for finances, Raúl Lozano for editorial, Jonatán Ponce for marketing, and Antonio Gil for sales.

“Our publishing houses continue to carry hope across the territory, preparing God’s people for His coming,” said Abner De los Santos, president of the IAD.

Both board meetings concluded with moments of gratitude and prayer, affirming the publishing houses’ shared commitment to support evangelism and provide spiritual resources that strengthen the church’s mission across the region.

Health Food Company

Inter-America’s Health Food Company, which oversees the operations of 11 food factories and branches across the territory, voted on financial matters, productions outcomes and development plans during this year.

From the net income received, branches contribute to the mission of the church through supporting schools, universities, and numerous community projects every year, reported Jose Flóres, director of IAHFC. “IAHFC is an institution of the church and it continues its commitment to providing healthy foods to sustain and support its members and communities,” he said.

Board members voted on this year’s financial report and its operating budget for 2026 among the 11 branches and the central governing office.

Flóres was voted to continue as director of the food company for the next five years.

ADRA Mexico

ADRA Mexico board also presented its annual report, outlining ongoing humanitarian projects, disaster response efforts, and community development initiatives throughout the country. Board members approved the 2026 operating budget and strategic plan for strengthening partnerships with local conferences, health ministries, and educational institutions.

The board elected Ruben Ponce as the new director of ADRA Mexico, Raúl Villafan as financial director, and Sebastián González as programs director, to continue expanding ADRA’s impact among vulnerable communities across the country.

Pastor Dennis Slusher, president of the Belize Union, reminded leaders during this devotional message that mission expansion is not driven primarily by organizational strategy but by spiritual dependence.

“The growth of God’s work depends on the Holy Spirit more than our strategies,” said Slusher. He said planning has value, but true transformation begins when leaders seek God, study His Word, and invite the Spirit to lead.
