Volunteers from three Adventist congregations in Belize City spent last Saturday repairing homes damaged by seasonal flooding. The project, organized through the local Community Services department, focused on families with young children and elderly residents who could not make repairs on their own.

“We simply asked our members who could swing a hammer, and more than forty people showed up,” said Pastor Elias Ramirez, who coordinated the effort. Ramirez added that similar repair days are being planned in two other districts next month, with support from regional church leadership.
