Drug Awareness Month

For several years now, the month of health has been declared as a month to combat drug addiction in the Inter-American Division. This year, it is recommended to use the resources from the General Association so that each Union can prepare its awareness and anti-addiction programs for both legal and illegal drugs in their country.

Here are the sites where you can find resources for your activities on the General Association’s platform:

• The 12 Steps to Quit Smoking or Drinking / Alcoholics Anonymous
• Educational videos on addictions and how to break free in all languages
• Brochure on the Adventist Ministry of Restoration
• Mental health resources
• Resources for pornography addiction
• Resources for youth in three languages

Some of these resources have not yet been translated by the General Conference, but you can translate them. Contact ricedu@interamerica.org if you need help translating any of these resources into your language.
